An intermittent no-start, a blank display, or a battery that won't stay charged can trace back to the Power Distribution Module (PDM) in your Sportsman. Our 2006-2007 Polaris Sportsman PDM repair restores the module circuits responsible for starting, dash power, and charging on supported 500 EFI and X2 models.
Common Polaris Sportsman PDM Problems We Repair
- ATV starts intermittently or will not start
- No ground signal to the starter solenoid
- Instrument display flickers, cuts out, or stays blank
- Dash lights work intermittently or fail completely
- Battery does not charge because of an internal PDM fault
- Intermittent power loss from the module
Why Repair Your Sportsman PDM Instead of Replacing It?
Buying a used PDM can leave you with another module that develops the same electrical problems. Part numbers and applications also vary across the Sportsman range, so a similar-looking module may not be compatible with your ATV.
Our $199.99 repair corrects the fault in your original PDM without replacing the complete module. Every repair includes a lifetime warranty, with a 2-3 business day turnaround after we receive it.
Vehicle Fitment
This service covers the PDM fitted to these 2006 and 2007 Polaris Sportsman ATVs. Match the part number on your module with your exact model before ordering.
| Year | Polaris Sportsman models |
|---|---|
| 2006 | Sportsman 500 EFI; Sportsman 500 EFI International; Sportsman X2 |
| 2007 | Sportsman 500 EFI; Sportsman 500 EFI International; Sportsman X2 500 EFI; Sportsman X2 500 EFI Quad |
The PDM and engine-control ECM are separate components on these EFI models. Confirm the module label before ordering.
